Tavana Energy’s Timeline
- 2020 August – Tavana Energy opened its office at Kish Island Innovation Center, as a knowledge-based enterprise, to expand its activities in Kish Free Zone and also to the neighboring countries in the Persian Gulf. University to accelerate startups and business units.
- 2020 June – Starting Tavana Accelerator at Kharazmi University to accelerate startups and business units.
- 2019 May – Starting Tavana BioTech as a spinoff company on bio-technology at Science and Technology Park of Tehran University.
- 2017 May – Designing and production of Spectral Gamma Scanner for cores from oil wells, for the first time in Iran and in the area.
- 2016 February – Starting a big project with Exploration Directorate of NIOC for Geochemical Analysis of all exploratory blocks of Iran in collaboration with several international companies and research organizations.
- 2015 September – Began collaboration with national and international entities for an effective involvement in Iran Petroleum Contract (IPC), by reviewing company’s strategy and management .
- 2015 August – Began collaboration with EOR Research Center of NIOC, on research projects and laboratory studies.
- 2015 January – Evolved to a Private Joint Stock Company to fulfilled the requirement by the local banks and investors.
- 2014 October – Qualified as a Knowledge-based Enterprise in upstream oil and gas industry in Iran by Science & Technology Vice-Presidency Directorate.
- 2014 June- Began cooperation with select local institutes & companies, including Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI), Institute of Petroleum of Tehran University (IPE), Sharif University of Technology, and Kayson oil and gas company.
- 2014 February- Establishment of Tavana Energy Technology Center (TE-TECH) by equipping Rock and Fluid Laboratories, engagement of G&G and reservoir engineering specialists to provide IOR/EOR solutions, de-bottlenecking, develop and/or transfer of technologies for production optimization and reservoir management.
- 2013 August – Began cooperation with select international institutes & companies, including Aachen University of Germany on basin modelling and geochemical studies , Klarenco of Russia on reservoir studies , VNN of Russia on laboratory services, KPT of Kazakhstan on PVT experiments, KAZGECO of Kazakhstan on onshore seismic acquisition, Hind Geophysical of India on offshore seismic acquisition, Anatolian Geophysical on seismic processing and interpretation, Seismotech of Greece on passive seismic technology, Enerkey of china on hydraulic fracturing, well stimulation and well services.
- 2013 June – Qualified and settled in Science and Technology Park of Tehran University as a technology-oriented enterprise in upstream oil and gas industry.
- 2012 February – Established at Kish Free Zone with mandate to develop business in upstream technologies and oil and gas industry.
